What is 6A grade silk?
Silk is classified into grades. According to China’s GBT 1797-2008 Raw Silk Quality Standards, the raw silk is divided into 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A, A, B, C, D, E, and F. Which comes to a total of 11 grades.

The most common grade A class includes A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A. 6A is silk with better quality. With this classification purchasing silk in the future should be much easier based on these parameters. Besides, silks can help the skin maintain the surface lipid membrane’s metabolism, and keeping the skin moist and shiny. 

What is momme? What's the difference between 16mm and 22mm?
Momme describes the weight and density of silk. A higher Momme means more threads per 100 yards of fabric, thus making the product heavier. Momme (mm) is a unit for measuring the quality of silk fabrics. One Momme = 4.340 grams per square meter, our product is 22MM and has 95 grams of silk per square meter, contributing to its long-lasting durability and silky feel.

When Momme is higher in a product, it's more luxurious, shiny, durable, lasts longer, and Adapt temperature. In most instances, 16 mm higher than 11 mm is still considered "lower quality", while 25 mm is too heavy for clothes and is usually used for decorations such as curtains. 22-Momme is a perfect balance, and if you are looking for a silk pillow, face mask, eye mask, and hair scrunchies, this is what you should be looking for.
